Reception, Installation and Maintenance of the sauna

What to do when you receive the package?

When you receive your sauna, we strongly encourage you to check the condition of the goods, the packaging and the product. Do not hesitate to open the package in front of the carrier to make your statement in his presence.

If you notice that the product has been damaged during delivery, refuse it, because otherwise no reservation (do it for the product and not for the packaging) will be accepted after the carrier has left.

Moreover, be aware that the mention "Subject to unpacking" has no legal value.

How much space do we need to install the sauna?

We offer different sauna ranges of all sizes that can be integrated into any type of interior, from the smallest to the most spacious. We have designed square, rectangular and even angular basic structures to allow you to design your wellness area in the best possible way.

If you want to install your sauna in a reduced space, you can opt for an angular model of 120cm by 87cm or for a square base model of 90cm by 90cm depending on the layout of your room.

If, on the other hand, you have a very spacious space that can accommodate a large volume, opt for a 5-person model with a rectangular base of 220cm by 160cm.

Our cabins offer different capacities from 1 to 5 people so that you can enjoy your session in a sitting or semi-lying position. You can also enjoy your sauna with several people lying down in our 5-seater and 4/5-seater Club models.

How is a France-Sauna assembled?

Our saunas are assembled in prefabricated panels. As they are lightweight, anyone can assemble a France-Sauna.

No tools are required due to the looping system. It takes about 20 minutes to assemble.

Only 2 people are needed for the assembly.

How can I plug in a France-Sauna? Three-phase or single-phase?

The electrical connection of our saunas is very easy.

To connect an infrared sauna: when assembling the sauna, simply insert the plugs in the roof to power the infrared panels. Then connect the sauna's electrical plug to a wall socket and switch on your sauna.

To connect the steam sauna: For the correct electrical connection of your Harvia heater, please refer to the Harvia manual (or refer to the FAQ "Installation and connection of your HARVIA heater").

Is it possible to reverse the door opening?

All our cabins have a left to right opening. We do not have any models with a reversed opening. The door is attached to the hinges, which are screwed to the sauna’s frame.

How do I maintain my sauna?

To maintain your sauna's beauty, it is advisable to apply linseed oil to the inside and outside of the cabin as a preventive treatment to waterproof the woodwork.

To clean your sauna interior after several uses, you should use a lint-free cloth soaked in Linseed oil to wipe the benches, chair backs and floor of the sauna.

If the floor or bench of your sauna is marked with indelible stains, sand it lightly with sandpaper.
